The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) ran Dubai Invite so that UAE residents could invite friends and family from abroad and unlock benefits from partners across the city. The campaign reward package was worth more than 3,000 AED.
What is the Dubai Invite campaign?
Dubai Invite is a DET campaign that rewards UAE residents for inviting friends and family to visit Dubai. Visit Dubai describes it as a way to unlock benefits from the city's hotels, restaurants and attractions.
The idea rests on personal invitations. A resident knows which neighbourhoods, meals and attractions are worth the time, and the campaign turned that knowledge into an invitation with a reward attached for host and guests.
Is the Dubai Invite campaign still valid?
No new nominations are accepted, but nominations sent earlier remain valid. The facts below come from the official Visit Dubai page, checked on 24 October 2026:
Nominations for A Dubai Invite are closed.
Guests of earlier nominations can arrive in Dubai until 31 October 2026. The resident is notified by email once the arrival is verified.
Rewards are valid until 31 December 2026 unless stated otherwise. Standard blackout dates may apply.
Each eligible nomination earns a reward package worth more than 3,000 AED: hotel stays, dining offers, attraction tickets and more.
A resident can nominate several guests. If at least one guest of each nomination arrives during the programme, each nomination earns one package. The official example is three nominations and three packages.
How did the Dubai Invite work?
The campaign ran in three steps, as described when it opened:
Register your guests. A UAE resident registered the guests' details on the official Visit Dubai portal before they travelled. The resident verified the registration with an Emirates ID.
Guest arrival and verification. Guests entered Dubai through the normal border control. The campaign system verified their arrival.
Rewards unlocked. After the verification, the rewards became available to the resident and the guests during the stay.
Which rewards belonged to the 3,000 AED package?
