The Dubai Balloon is a tethered helium balloon located at the Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark’s outer crescent on Palm Jumeirah. It rises up to 300 meters, offering unmatched views of Dubai’s shoreline and skyline. During the 10–20 minute flight, guests can admire the full width of Palm Jumeirah and, on clear days, spot Downtown Dubai and Burj Khalifa. Yes. The Dubai Balloon is a tethered helium system, professionally operated and anchored to the ground. It does not operate in unsafe weather conditions.

No. The balloon is securely tethered to the ground with strong cables. It only ascends and descends in a controlled manner and does not drift or float freely with the wind.

The ascent is slow and smooth, and the enclosed gondola helps reduce discomfort. However, comfort levels vary by individual.

Participation is not recommended in later stages of pregnancy. First-trimester participation may be allowed with medical approval.

Passengers over 100 kg (220 lbs) may require special approval before boarding. Safety checks are conducted prior to the ride.

Yes. In case of strong winds, rain, or adverse weather conditions, operations may be temporarily suspended or canceled for safety reasons.
