Dubai Venues Plan Free Halloween Trails and Costume Events

Dubai venues are preparing free Halloween activities between October 30 and November 1, 2026, with programmes at Times Square Center, Wafi City, The Irish Village and Stomping Grounds. Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, with events ranging from children’s workshops to evening costume parties.
According to Gulf News, the options include admission without charge, although Wafi City requires registration and food and drinks at Stomping Grounds cost extra.
What is happening at Times Square Center?
Times Square Center on Sheikh Zayed Road will host family activities from October 30 through November 1, running from noon until 7pm.
Picnic Square, upstairs on the first floor, will feature The Ghoulty Towers Hotel show and Monster Party dancing. Magic Phil is scheduled to perform each day at 6pm. Children can also take part in craft workshops, dance lessons and games downstairs, while face painting is available between noon and 6pm daily.
Saturday’s Spooky Sweet Trail takes place between 2pm and 4pm, with participating shops providing trick-or-treat stops. The children’s costume contest follows on Sunday at 5pm, with bundles of prizes for winners.
How can families join Wafi City’s activities?
Wafi City in Oud Metha will offer games, challenges and a trail where children gather stickers for their passports alongside treats. Participating outlets provide opportunities to win prizes, and Khan Murjan Souk adds further stops.
The programme runs from 4pm until 8pm on October 30. On October 31 and November 1, activities begin at noon and finish at 7pm.
Individuals and families across all age groups can enter the costume competition, scheduled for 4pm to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Register through Wafi City’s website for both the activities and competition.
Where else can visitors celebrate on Saturday?
The Irish Village’s Al Garhoud and Studio One Hotel locations will begin their Halloween parties at 6pm on October 31. Admission is free, with DJs, games and costume competitions offering prizes worth up to Dh5,000. A separate play space is provided for children, who may stay until 9.30pm.
Stomping Grounds in Jumeirah 1 will welcome visitors from 9am until 9pm. The cafe, at Villa 98 on 12D Street, has a family costume contest and also welcomes pets in costume. Attendance is free; refreshments and meals are charged separately.
What does this mean for visitors?
Register ahead for Wafi City and arrive early for workshops or costume contests, particularly on Saturday afternoon when free events can become busy. Keep the children’s 9.30pm limit in mind when planning an Irish Village visit.
For wider trip planning, browse Dubai hotels alongside your chosen event locations. Families organising additional outings can consult the guide to children’s play areas, while the shopping for kids guide offers a separate resource for clothing plans.
